Family Homework Winners - Spring 1 2022
Well done to all of the Cayley families working together during the half term.
The winning classes are 2B in KS1, with 88%, and 4B in KS2 with 100%!
My sister helped me make the book. My sister wrote ‘I will be a star.’ We both put the gems on. We both cut the leaves. My favourite part was making the gems.
I made a future tree with leaves. On the leaves, I wrote what I want to do in the future. I used paper, sticks, foam paper and playdough. My whole family helped.
I want to be a doctor when I grow up. I made a picture showing me as Dr Safwana working at the Royal London Hospital. I drew an ambulance and a helicopter.
I made a robot with my family. It was so much fun. We folded paper to make his arms and antennae. He has lots of buttons on the front.
I really enjoyed working with my mum and researching on doctors.
I feel happy and I enjoyed making my board and sticking in different images.
Future city roads and vehicles. I like drawing so I drew what roads might look like in a future city. We might have flying cars to help with traffic and everything will run on electricity. My family gave me ideas on what things to put in my drawing.

My mum helped me to make a robot. We used tissue roll.
My mum helped me and my brother. I cut the legs because that was the easy bit. My mum helped me to fold the paper. My baby couldn’t help because she is to little. I liked cutting the best and drawing.
I made my very own robot with my big sister. I used tissue rolls, 1 box, paper, tape and foil. First we got a box and wrapped foil all around it. After we stuck the paper with the tissue rolls down with tape. My sister helped me to draw the robot’s face.
Me and my sister feel very proud of our robot because it looks very realistic. My favourite part was putting the foil around the box.
I made my family homework with my dad. I made my future house out of cardboard, paints, pens, a small tin, scissors and hot glue. I got a box then I mixed some paints together. I then painted the box with the paint. I went into the garden with my dad so that he could spray paint the pot grey. When it was dry, I glued rectangles to the house. I feel happy about my work. My favourite part was the painting.
My mum helped me make this model called ZYROX. We used foil and cardboard. I feel happy.
I made a model of a flying car from the future. I designed it with my family. I enjoyed making it from old boxes and cartons. I used crayons, glue and felt tip pens to decorate it.
I made a model of a hospital with my family. I enjoyed making it using recycled objects from around my home. I want to be a doctor when I grow up to that I can help people and save lives. I also enjoy science and maths at school so I think I would be good at learning how to be a doctor.
I did the painting and my sister helped me construct the model. The idea came from us talking about pollution.
I made a mechanic hand for my mum because she has a disability on her hand.
I first designed the hand with diagrams and then used tin foil to construct the hand. I love the way it turned out.
I wrote a story about a robot in the future, what might happen if they took over. I used all the skills I learnt in English to write my story.
My mum helped me. It is a robot that moves. It cleans up outside and inside. It is electric.

I made a robot. My dad helped me. we cut out a cardboard box and made it with glue. I liked writing on the robot.

My mum and my dad helped me. We used cardboard boxes, foil and buttons for the eyes. First we used the big box for the stomach and then we used a milkshake box for the head, arms and legs. We covered it with foil and then used tape to put it all together. My favourite part was wrapping the robot in tin foil because I didn’t need any tape or glue to put it on.
Me and my mum made a future clock. First my mum got a lid from a chocolate box. Then we painted it and put glitter on it. I cut out all the numbers and put it on the lid. Then I put some diamonds on it.
My mum helped me my future city. We used cars, cardboard and colourings. I enjoyed making this.
For my homework, I first found a box and put a piece of paper on it. I then drew some decorations like hover board, wire and the teleporter to get inside the house. Later, my mum made the magnetic waves out of foil and support for the balloon/house.”
My dad and my mum helped me. My mum gave me the idea to make a time machine using the chips can. I got the chips can, drew a clock on paper and cut it out. Then I stuck it all together.
I wrote a letter to my future self and made a time capsule to bury it somewhere.
First my mum drew the tree, then I found colourful paper and cut the leaves. Then my mum drew a bird inside the tree and I coloured it for me. I stuck on the leaves and coloured the tree and did some of the background.
Meet my future friendly robot buddy! My family helped me to make this cute paper robot. It was really fun.
I made a time capsule and showed what I want to be in the future. I want to be a lawyer.
I Had a discussion with my family about what they would like in the future. Using this, I was able to create a video montage of things that we would like for the future.
It is a rocket to go to space. I would like to go to space. My sister helped me.
I made a time portal. I made it with a cereal box. After that I painted it and my mum helped me.
‘Firstly, my parents cut out the cardboard using a cereal box. Then they created a cylinder shape by sticking the two edges. After that, they used the cardboard to make the lid. Then the next day, at night, they put cellotape around for me to paint and after we finished painting. At last my mum made paper and she wrote ‘Time Capsule 2022, Niloy.’
I used two pieces of paper to draw some robots. By the time I finished it was 8 o clock. I’m happy because I was able to include a lot of detail and information.
